Hello Canterbury families,
Happy Mother’s Day to all our Canterbury families!
5K Kindness Run/Walk Flyer includes the registration link for participants to pre-register for the event. This year's 5K will be held on Saturday, May 18th from 8:00AM-12:00PM. There will be options for runners and walkers as well as a Community Resource Fair, Student Performances, and Event Swag!
Join Board Member Kelly Gonez for our 4th Annual BD6 Picnic in the Park on Saturday, May 25th, from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm! This is a free event for the entire family where everyone can enjoy…

Parents, please be mindful of our neighbors when dropping off and picking up students. Please do not park in their driveways or move their trash cans. Please be courteous to drivers when parking around our school. Our partners at LAPD Traffic Division frequently monitor schools for issues. We appreciate your cooperation! The safety of our students is the utmost priority.
LAUSD is offering Virtual Home Based Tutoring. Parents can enroll at http://enroll.lausd.net or go on to the Parent Portal to enroll.

CAASPP Testing window is now open and 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classes are testing. Please be sure your child gets good sleep every night, is well nourished and has adequate physical activity. Your child’s teacher will provide additional information.
We have a new website! Please go to canterburyavees.lausd.org for updates and important information throughout the year. We are in the process of adding more content to make the site user friendly and helpful!
